The singer-songwriter has been crafting original tunes from the time he was a pre-teen. James has performed at Calgary coffee shops and other roots music events, all the while balancing his love of music with a demanding training schedule. He’s also a talented gymnast who has twice competed for Canada’s Junior Team.

London’s TD Sunfest Festival Celebrates 20 Years
Launched in 1995, London, Ontario’s TD Sunfest is now one of the largest music festivals in Canada. Over 225,000 people gather in Victoria Park for four days of world music performances, complemented by hundreds of culturally diverse food, craft and visual art exhibitors. 2014 marks Sunfest’s 20th Anniversary. TD is pleased to have sponsored Sunfest for the past seven years.

Tunes and Tales: A Story of Live Music and Readings for Children
In 2011, the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and the Greater Sudbury Public Library partnered to present Tunes and Tales, a bilingual program that pairs storytelling by library staff with live classical music performed by the Orchestra’s string quartet.
All the Right Notes: Lifelong Music Fan Patti McKague Makes Her JUNOS Debut
Waterloo-based Patti McKague has been immersed in music for as long as she can remember. A public relations specialist, mother of two teens, and occasional performer herself, McKague had often dreamed of attending the JUNO Awards. This year, her wish was granted as Patti entered and won the TD Ultimate JUNO Awards Experience contest.
The Royal Conservatory: Passion Makes Perfect
Since 2011, TD has been the title sponsor of the Conservatory’s annual jazz series, and has supported many additional concerts. In 2007, Winnipeg police officer and lifelong music fan Kevin Gibson made it his mission to better the lives of youth through music and arts. Three years later, Gibson had the chance to present his ideas for what would become Status4 to City Council.
