At TD, we’re committed to supporting music in communities across Canada 365 days a year. That’s why we’re so excited to announce that our friends at The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) recently launched the long-anticipated JUNO TV!
JUNO TV is an online channel designed to showcase Canada’s year-round, vibrant music scene, via exclusive programming featuring today’s hottest stars. As well, the channel will pay tribute to historic JUNO Awards moments by airing vintage footage pulled straight from the JUNO Awards vault each week. JUNO TV was made possible with the support of the Ontario Media Development Corporation on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Every Tuesday at
www.junotv.ca, Canadian music fans can access updated programming. The four programs featured on JUNO TV include:
Stranded
- Today’s hottest artists, such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Down With Webster, and Dragonette, talk about the five things they can’t live without.
Take Two
- Iconic artists, such as Maestro Fresh Wes, Jim Cuddy (Blue Rodeo), and Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea), discuss their defining JUNO moments.
The Experts
- Canada’s entertainment movers and shakers, including Randy Lennox, President and CEO of Universal Music Canada, and radio broadcaster and musicologist Alan Cross, offer their candid insights.
Vintage Vids
- Classic JUNO Awards performances and highlights are unearthed and shared.
As well, JUNO TV EXTRAS will be offered, including special bonus footage from the February 19th JUNO Nominee Press Conference; JUNO Hype Reels, and on-the-ground coverage from Regina during JUNO Week 2013 such as the industry-only JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards.
If your love of music extends 365 days a year like ours at TD does, then join us in supporting the commitment CARAS has made to showcasing Canada’s ongoing and thriving music industry via JUNO TV. Tune in today at
